Foxconn vs Oliver Twist

The notorious company Foxconn has many things in common with Charles Dickens story Oliver Twist. After some research about Foxconn and seeing what happens behind the closed doors of Foxconn. It has hit me that some factories are kind of like the workhouses that are protrayed in the story Oliver Twist.

First off both have horrible working conditions and these horrible conditions are what kill people. Many of the people who work at Foxconn are poor and need money so they can survive. The work they do at Foxconn is hazardous for many of their employees. The factories also have dorms very close so the works can get to work fast and not be late. Foxconn also uses children to work in their factories.

These are the harsh relates of how Foxconn works their employees. There are so many things that the world could do to make life better for the Foxconn works.
